I'm in agreement with these 4 courses of action. Personally, I think that it is between options 2 (soft coup), and 3/4. I feel that the situation has almost nothing to do with anything Qatar has or hasn't done. IMO, it is to defer blame from KSA to Qatar, for Saudi crimes. Therefore Saudi accusses Qatar of doing what it does the most. Terrorise the faithful.

PS: I don't think that Qatar is THE issue at hand here. The house of Al-Saud is imploding.
Saudi is at war ALREADY on 3 fronts.
North: Syria. ISIL (US/KSA proxies)
South: Yemen. & Areas inside KSA.
East: Qatar, and other Shi'a rebellions in KSA. Oh, and Iran.

Even though KSA has airpower, modern kit etc,  their campaigns have not achieved their aims.
They are loosing.

Qatar got sacrificed to buy KSA more time.
The fall of the House of Al-Saud has begun.
