I agree. Russia has shown that is has a strong strategy of forestalling & paring the thrusts of the US against it. However, with fewer strategic factors in Russia's favour. Even as I am writing this tabs are arising that Israel is conducting airstrikes in Syria. Right Now. Again.

The problem with the States Deep State death machine is that it had two critical weak points.
1. Collapse of its Ponzi scheme economy. (The US can't take over the world, if the world stops paying for it). Short the dollar/ UST bonds and one kills the Dollar part of petrodollar, and
2. Collapse of Saudi Arabia. We have peak oil, peak demographics of consumers, shift is consumer demand from china & the Yuan, Aramco trying to raise cash through bonds & an IPO, etc. Saudi Arabia represents perfect corruption. Near 100% perception management control. For a news nerd like me, watching for 50 years+, I can say that we have had more news coming out of Saudi than for many decades before. This projecting of demands & aggressive statements hides the rot within. For now.

Over the next few months the situation in and around the fertile crescent through to the straits of hormuz will boil over as a new front line opens. From Raqqah/Mosul in the north down through the Straits of Hormuz (basically the sunni Shi's divide). The other key battle line East of the Nile. Eritrea, Djibouti, Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Egypt etc. From the aforementioned, they all surround Saudi. Meanwhile within Saudi & the GCC things are slip, sliding away. More oppression to fix problems.

The main event for me is the fall of the house of Al-Saud. The KSA is surrounded by a series of wars that are growing and spreading. What appears as strength by the KSA is IMO a form of 'external defence' (subjugating other countries by destabilizing them that they have no way of resisting you.)
The new Crown Prince is a bloodthirsty monster who along with that Sith of a man Jubeir will be attacking Iran shortly. The US is pretending they don't have anything to do with it. Until they do. everyone has pledged their support to the great american crusade of hegemony or bust. Lets see how this plays out.
Lastly, I think a critical time period will be Hajj, and later between the 7th of August & the 21st of August 2017. lunar and solar eclipses. Might sound strange, but these weirdo's over here like to slaughter people on days they think are important. May the right things happen. For us all. MTH
