Trump "Overrules" Cabinet, Prepares To Unleash Global Trade War

As things continue, I'm seeing a confluence of complications. If Trump actually does initiate a trade war, he could create chaos for the dollar (government bonds and gold).
Up until this point, the United States has not faced an open rejection of US Treasuries.

China is one of the largest shareholders in America along with the Federal Reserve Bank and Japan.
I'm sure, China doesn't need as many dollars as it used to. Their retaliation against the US could lead to a cascade of negative effects for American Treasuries & inflation within US.

One positive thing I see is countries divesting from UST (i.e. the world pays for the US to aggress/oppress them).
US BONDS make the PENTAGON possible.
This is the root of the US empire.
This revolving Ponzi scheme is becoming more and more unstable.
The US is not as important as it thinks it is anymore. It makes statements that will have major consequences, mostly for America.
